Out of the 836 foreign-trained medical graduates who sat for the 2023 qualifying examination by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), only 403 passed the examination.
MDCN is the body that regulates the practice of Medicine, Dentistry, and Alternative Medicine in the country to safeguard the nation’s healthcare system.
The computer-based qualifying examination was held at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano between November 22 and 23, 2023. The examination was taken in four different centres in Kano State.
